HIPS 7240

POLYETHYLENE

This type of polystyrene, abbreviated as high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), is impact resistant and therefore is used in the manufacture of utensils and the body of home appliances. The brand name of this material in the Iranian market is Himepack. Dishes made from this material have a matte white color and are flexible, but at the same time are fragile, like yogurt and cream dishes. In general, 95% of disposable dishes are made of high impact and are used in making all kinds of toys, all kinds of yogurt cans, sauce cans.

Applications

For the production of sports equipment, toys, refrigeration insulation in the body of refrigerators, freezers and household appliances and disposable tableware.
